MACHINE : BACON DEHYDRATOR
PREP: 12 HOURS 10 MINUTES
DEHYDRATE: 6 HOURS
YIELDS 4 SERVINGS
CANDIED SWEET & SPICY BACON INGREDIENTS:
- 10 strips bacon
- 3 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon garlic chili sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon mirin
DIRECTIONS:
- Cut bacon strips into halves or thirds. Set aside.
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl until well mixed.
- Place the cut bacon and marinade into a sealable plastic bag. Mix well.
- Marinate in the fridge for 12 hours or overnight.
- Place the bacon evenly between the Bacon dehydrator trays.
- Select the Preheat function on the food dehydrator and press Start/Pause.
- Dry at 165F for 6 hours,or until done.
